1. DEFINITIONS
- "Excedo", "Us" or "We" refers to Excedo a division of Conor Information Technologies. Registration number: 2007/020427/07.
- "Resource" means a person with a set of skills and experience that can be possible be placed by Excedo at a company that has a need for their services.
- "Company" means the client of Excedo how is looking for available resources that meet their needs.
- "Referrer" means a resource that is active registered and approved with Excedo, who is the person who referred a potential resource.
- "Referred" means the person who was referred by the referrer.
- "Commission" refers to money that a referrer is entitled to after the successful placement of one of his referrals, via Excedo.
- "Placement Fee" means the amount of money that Excedo is entitled to after a placement of a resource.
- "Placement" means the process of matching a resources to vacancy at a Company, where the Company will be responsible for future remunerations directly to the resource and where upon Excedo will be entitled to a once of placement fee from the Company.
- "Approve(d)" means that a referral is registered on the system, is accepted and becomes a resource that is now illegible to be placed at a Company or to be to be used on short term projects. If a referral is not approved, they will be termed to be rejected, unaccepted.
- "System" means the Excedo solution managing the resource database.
- Where words importing the singular are used they shall include the plural and where one gender is used, it shall include the other gender.
2. COMMISSIONS
- 1. Only resources that are in the 'Accepted' state, are entitled to a commission of a referred resource.
- Commissions will only be paid when:
- the probation period (usually 3 months) has successfully been completed and;
- if the Company is satisfied with the placed resource and;
- Excedo has received payment from the Company.
- If a resource is approved, but does not update their details within a year, from registration or last updated date, they will forfeit future commissions of their current referrals.
- No commissions are paid on short term projects, where Excedo might subcontract resources, but only on placements at a Company. Referrals will how ever be compensated by having their commission scale incremented.
- A registered Resource is only illegible for a commission if they are in the Accepted state, on the system, at the time that Excedo receives payment from the Company.
- Any resource that is deactivated will loose their entitlement to commissions from their current referrals.
- Commission scale:
a. The basic commission scale is 15% of the placement fee.
b. The commission scale can be increased by 2.5% for the resource, on either of the following activities:
- Successful placement of a referral.
- Successful completion of a short term project which a referral was subcontracted on.
- Placement of a resource himself (With the exception of the first time).
c. Maximum commission scale is 30%.
d. A resource's commission percentage will reset to 15% if he did not notify Excedo, per email to admin@excedo.co.za, when he was in the market or planning to move to a different company. It will also be reset if a resource is deactivated and possible reactivated in future.
- Commission payments will only be done electronically into a South African bank account.
3. GENERAL
- The resource who's referral accepted to register first (using their generated email registration link), will be entitled to be the referrer. I.e. a referral can only have one referrer.
A referrer, for a resource, can however change if the original referrer is deactivated.
- If the referral does not use the referral link, he will not be linked to the referrer on the system.
- Excedo, at its discretion, may decide to follow up and approve or reject a referral.
- Excedo holds the right to revoke commission illegibility and deactivate a resource at any time. Some of the reasons might include, but is not limited to:
- False information given
- Unethical behaviour
- Referrals does not meet the basic criteria or if referrals, constantly, does not qualify.
- Employees of Excedo or Conor Information Technology are not illegible for commissions.
- A resource working at the Company, may not be in a position to directly influence the decision to place one if his referrals, thereby benefiting himself.
- Excedo takes no responsibility for the actions of the placed resource, but we can vouch for the resources as we really get to know them and only a select few are linked up with us. We do however offer a 30 day money back guarantee.
- Excedo reserve the right to cancel the referral commission program at any time and without notice in the event that unforeseen circumstances make this unavoidable.
- Excedo may change the Terms & Conditions and referral commission scale at any time.
